Awesome! Looked like lots of strategy going on, especially with the wind hole at the inside mark.
Thanks for this awesome video and reminder of a memorable race. If I would have know, I would have tried a little harder. Just for the record though, when I had that little splash before the last mark that almost took me out, my HARNESS broke so I couldn’t exactly sheet in very hard going into the finish. I kept an eye on the guys behind me to make sure I had second place but there was no way to catch Phil without being able to lean back and power up. Dumb Luck I guess. Thanks to Greg McKenny for loaning me his harness for the rest of the heats.
