Sergey, it got more manageable after you came off the water, but I guess your tail was already good and kicked by that point. Can’t wait for those steady summer days!

On SE day it is usually pretty warm (no need for gloves at all). Ocean water is a bit chillier than bay, but not in winter. Regular winter wear should be fine.
Bigger problem is dirty water, especially if it was raining for some time before. My buddy was so sick after sailing there that he quit storm sailing altogether. So – no swallowing 🙂
