North Pacific High made a shy (with a tad of WSW) appearance today, first in the year. Paging Mike Godsey!

Good old-fashioned 6.6 fun at Coyote. Unreliable clearing wind, kept switching to WSW, driving port tack right into chop. Need to work on keeping the horizon level!

Deceptive winter wind pattern, never mind the date. Got stuck waterstarting on the outside with some chop and little wind. Then it came up with a vengeance, I could only get couple of reaches with the kit that I rigged. Hey, it’s spring now and there are no excuses to keep sails dry anymore!

I don’t like to wash my wetsuit. This is usually the last step after wrap-up and it involves taking suit from the bag, going to backyard, hosing it inside out and then carrying it back to dry. Really kills your mood after the session.
Wanted to go surfing at 7:30, checked sensors and was pleasantly surprised.
